Benifits of enrolling at High Five Academy:
Lessons are month to month. There are no "semester" or "annual" type commitents.
All students are encouraged to participate in recitals and concerts in our comfortable on-site performance center. Students can join a band, ensemble or perform solo.
Our Staff has many years of success as educators and performers. We teach the fundamentals of music using songs students want to play.

Private Lessons & Group Classes
Our lesson rooms and practice rooms are fully stocked with amps, drums, keyboards, wifi, audio equipment - everything needed to maximize lesson time - just bring your instrument! Our staff has many years of success as educators and performers. We teach the fundamentals of music using songs students want to play. Lessons are month to month. Most students opt for a half hour private lesson every week, but 45 min. and hour lessons are also offered. There are no "semester" or "annual" type commitments. Learn music skills for personal enjoyment. Improve skills for school band. Form a band and play your favorite music. Enjoy jamming with friends.
Why join the Rock Band Class?
Youth: Guitarists are not encouraged to participate in school bands and often are not allowed to even audition. Drum set players are relegated to snare and/or simple percussion in school band. Bassists are often asked to switch to Upright Bass when the music they listen to is played on Electric Bass. Singers have oppourtunities in choir but often find they aren't given music that they actually enjoy singing let alone performing. Kids want to ROCK!
Adults: Adults who enjoy playing may not have the interest in, time or ability to join a performing band. Our Adult Band is the perfect answer. Students of different levels can enjoy playing in a low key environment with an instructor to guide them and provide music.

Owner Chris Meek has taught and played music professionally in the Bay Area for over 25 years. He operates High Five Music Academy on the belief that music empowers the individual to raise the standards of our community through dedication and cooperation.
